As for the fishing on sidewinder ; i know that the fish are getting bigger in there, as are the match weights , looking at the results in the paper. not only the resident carp but last years stocked F1 ,s are putting on weight, along with the tench, etc, . they also have been subject to many opens now and the venue has seen match pressure since we last visited, when it was in its infancy as a venue. my advice to all fishing would be to fish methods they are strong with, do what you do best , because all carp methods/baits work here, and each peg would probably need a differing approach, some pole, some feeder, some both, even waggler on some, lets hope the weather is kinder than of late! :ugeek:
N>B ; Lately the matches have been won with between 60-120lb, albeit to good open match anglers.
